How the tools work

About this project
A focused collection of browser-based Unicode text tools built for quick, private copy and paste.
Small Text Generator is maintained by the smalltextgenerator.org product and editorial team. The project helps people understand and use small caps, superscript, subscript, and other Unicode-based text styles without installing fonts or sending text to a conversion API.
Conversions run in your browser. Supported letters, numbers, and symbols are mapped to Unicode characters; unsupported characters remain unchanged.
Guides distinguish Unicode characters from fonts and CSS, document incomplete alphabets, and avoid promising identical display on every device or app.
Text conversion is local. Analytics and advertising services may process ordinary usage data as described in the Privacy Policy.
Unicode support is not a universal compatibility guarantee. Rendering can change with the destination field, font stack, operating system, moderation rules, and app version. Our compatibility guidance therefore identifies likely uses and known limitations rather than claiming that every style works everywhere.
Open the Unicode compatibility guideIf you find an incorrect mapping, an outdated compatibility note, or a tool bug, email the site team. Please include the tool URL, input, output, device, and destination app when relevant.
